Our strategy
We see our tenants as strategic partners who are crucial to the success of our business. At the end of 2010, we had 8,080 contracts with tenants in our owned shopping centres across seven different countries, occupying a total of 2,017,289 m2 of GLA. These range from small-scale, local businesses renting one single unit in our centre to international retail groups that occupy a large number of units with one or more different well-known brands.
The focus of our Tenant Strategy is two-fold. First, we aim to provide all our tenants with high quality property management services which help them achieve strong financial results. Second, we offer added value services to improve the social and environmental aspects of our tenants' retail operations. |
Long-Term Objectives
| Deliver a high quality service to tenants and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, striving to achieve an average tenant satisfaction level of 4 or above in all Sonae Sierra owned shopping centres by 2015. |
| Engage with our tenants with the aim of helping them to improve their environmental and safety and health performance. |
